One Sunday morning on our family trip to visit family, I unintentionally wore my fuzzy pink flip-flops to church. Not the best choice of footwear with my turquoise skirt. I wore these flip-flops in motel rooms and houses to keep from running around barefoot. I fully intended to wear my sandals to church that morning. But this is how it happened -- my MIL, SIL, and neice & nephew were ready to go, so they left for church across town -- a 20 minute drive I was told. One of my boys was not wanting to wear his shoes. So, Russ took the other two kids out to the van as I assisted with the shoes on this child. Russ told me the front door was locked, all I needed to do was pull the door shut behind me. I was half way across the yard when I realized I had forgotten to change my shoes. What could I do? I realized even though it wasn't the most appropriate choice of footwear, at least I was at church with family. I wonder if anyone even noticed. ???
Then, during Sacrament meeting I looked in Jacob's bag and found a treat that he had recieved in Primary the previous Sunday -- a snack bag of baby carrots. You can just imagine what a snack bag of carrots looks like after a week traveling across country in a hot van. Let's just say YUCKY! and smelly too. Russ to the rescue -- he took the bag out and disposed of the carrots. :-)

OH MY GOODNESS! At least your flip flops are cute! I don't even know how many times I've almost left without changing my house slippers. Now THAT WOULD be noticeable! YUCK. ;)
