Emily lost 3 teeth in about a week's time. She hadn't lost a tooth in so long and they just started falling out.
Jacob wanted to show his teeth, which thankfully are not falling out yet.
And Matthew! What an adorable smile. And he has all his teeth too.
Such a pretty girl even with a few teeth missing.
Jacob started attending a pre-school called Thursday School. I forgot my camera the first day. So, this is the 2nd Thursday when I went to pick him up. He loves it! Last week they got to go to Fulton Farms on a hayride and pick a pumpkin. All day I Thursdays I hear from Matthew "I wanna go to pre-school. Play with trucks." They have toys set out for the kids to play with. Jacob gets to take a lunch with him. So glad I found an affordable pre-school. Matthew will get to go next year when he's 3. :-)
Russ ran the Air Force Half Marathon on Saturday, September 18. We went down to support him and were so glad we found him. Huge crowd! I saw him round the last corner to the finish line. He finished in 2 hours 10 seconds. He was happy with his time. Way to go Russ!!!
Emily attended Art Camp at the Troy-Hayner Clutural Center. She loves this camp! This was her second year to attend. The theme this year was "Art, It's Good Enough to Eat." So, every project had something to do with food. Thursday evening they had an art exhibit where we could go see all the campers' art work and pick up Emily's projects. Great program!!!
Jacob was helping me make garage sale signs. He asked for a piece of cardstock so he could write his name. He's 3 1/2. I had no idea he could write his name. My kids continue to amaze and delight me. What treasures they are!

Then, our neighbors gave this car to Matthew and he seemed to prefer it over the wagon.
But, Jacob and Emily love the wagon.

Head bands, pin the flower on the stem, photobooks, and treasure hunt followed by cake and icecream.
I think they had fun. I enjoyed planning it and I know Emily had fun. And since it was her birthday, I guess that's what was important. :-)
