I missed a What they say Wednesday. So, I'm posting what was said on Wednesday on Thursday. :-)
I took the boys to the Dollar Tree to get pirate accessories to go with their pirate costumes. Matthew pointed to the Dollar Tree and said, "there aren't any leaves on the Dollar Tree." He then pointed to a real tree and said, "there are leaves on that tree; but not on the Dollar Tree."
That's pretty observant!
I chose the name Dots of Delight because I need to look for the positive in life. There are spots of joy in my life that I can miss. But I am looking for those spots or dots of joy or delight. Thus, Dots of Delight. My children are my three biggest delights.

What they say Wednesday
Sometimes it's not spoken words, sometimes it's what is drawn or written that says a lot.
You can't see it very well, but at the bottom of this picture is written,
"Married in the temple by Emily"

Art Camp 2011
Emily had a great time at Art Camp again this year.
The Theme was Color Explosion!
And there certainly was an explosion of color.
Her daddy took her.
She brought her artwork home and showed it to me
and all the ladies who were here for Stamp-a-Stack.
Such a talented artist.
Isn't her artwork beautiful?
This one is now hanging above our piano.

What they say Wednesday
I've been wanting to join my sister Shelly in What they say Wednesdays. But I haven't gotten myself together enough to do that before. But as today is Wednesday, I can post one. :-)
We were on our way home from the store one day and Jacob made an observation about the driver in the car next to us: "He's smoking." I replied, "Yes, some people do that." To which he responded, "He doesn't know his body is a temple."
Seems obvious to me what they've been learning in primary.
