I chose the name Dots of Delight because I need to look for the positive in life. There are spots of joy in my life that I can miss. But I am looking for those spots or dots of joy or delight. Thus, Dots of Delight. My children are my three biggest delights.

Jacob started attending a pre-school called Thursday School. I forgot my camera the first day. So, this is the 2nd Thursday when I went to pick him up. He loves it! Last week they got to go to Fulton Farms on a hayride and pick a pumpkin. All day I Thursdays I hear from Matthew "I wanna go to pre-school. Play with trucks." They have toys set out for the kids to play with. Jacob gets to take a lunch with him. So glad I found an affordable pre-school. Matthew will get to go next year when he's 3. :-)

Emily's Art Work
Emily attended Art Camp at the Troy-Hayner Clutural Center. She loves this camp! This was her second year to attend. The theme this year was "Art, It's Good Enough to Eat." So, every project had something to do with food. Thursday evening they had an art exhibit where we could go see all the campers' art work and pick up Emily's projects. Great program!!!

How do you run out of time to color Easter Eggs? The kids finally got to color their eggs on Easter morning. I think they still enjoyed it. The hard boiled eggs don't get hidden for the egg hunt so it didn't seem to make a difference. :-) I gave Matthew a coloring book after he cracked a couple of eggs. Anything that's even somewhat spherical is a ball. hahaha At least they didn't get thrown across the room.

Emily has been wanting me to teach her how to sew. I learned about these rag purses at the last Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Camp I went to. I made one and Emily wanted to make one too. This is her first project on a sewing machine. We cut the squares using the scallop square die for the Sizzix Big Shot. Emily sewed all of the x's and most of the squares together. I just helped with the tricky parts. Good job Emily!
