Russ' first Marathon

Russ ran his first marathon on Saturday, October 18, 2009 in Indianapolis. Way to go Russ!!! Three wonderful families kept our kids so I could go with Russ and be his support. Glad I was able to be there. Russ kept telling me he was glad I was there. Especially for the drive home. He was pretty worn out. But he did it. Yay Russ!!!

Emily's school was doing a fundraiser for Heavenly Hats. Everyone who brought a dollar in for Heavenly Hats was able to wear a hat of his/her choice all day. Emily chose her witch's hat. This makes me smile. :-)

This is truely one of my delights. Emily and I laugh every time we look at this picture of Matthew. I was trying to take his picture and he was walking toward me. Captured a funny look on his face. What a treasure he is.

New to Blogging

I'm new to blogging. My sister Shelly has a blog and thought it would be fun for me to have a blog too. So, I'm getting started.
I chose the name Dots of Delight because I need to look for the positive in life. There are spots of joy in my life that I can miss. But I am looking for those spots or dots of joy or delight. Thus, Dots of Delight. My children are my three biggest delights.
